Quick answers before you visit
How often should I check tyre pressure?
About every two weeks and before long trips, when the tyres are cold. Correct pressure improves grip, fuel economy and tyre life. Drop in and we can check it for you.
When do I need a wheel alignment?
If the car pulls to one side, the steering wheel sits off-centre, or the tyres wear unevenly. It is also wise after hitting a pothole hard or fitting new tyres.
What does wheel balancing fix?
Vibration in the steering wheel or seat, usually at highway speeds. Balancing protects your suspension and keeps tyres wearing evenly.
When should I replace my tyres?
When the tread is worn down to the wear bars (about 1.6 mm), when you see cracks or bulges, or when the tyres are many years old even if the tread looks fine. Bring the car in and we will inspect it.
How often should I rotate tyres?
Roughly every 8,000 to 10,000 km, or as your vehicle maker advises. It evens out wear and extends the life of the set.
